I think that is silly.


It's necessary to prevent someone making up a sockpuppet in order to dupe peoples videos.

I understand the need for security, but I think it is silly that I can declare a video dead at the Bronze level, but being Bronze and having been on the Sift for 6 years I cannot declare dupes when I actually can recall most of the popular videos from memory. That is the part that is silly.

I used to do that, before I had promote abilities. I would promote, I would add channels. Siftbot would yell at me and I would be pleased.

Not really. The whole west coast has been getting tons of rain for most of June and some of July. I am on vacation this month and we have been going through BC and Washington state. We missed most of the rains of June, but we have seen many highway clearing operations dealing with mudslides.

Permafrost is way up north. This place is east of the Kelowna area, where it has been 28-38 degrees C when we were there, so it was pretty damn hot. Not any permafrost there. :
