If the automakers collapse

One thing to think about (and not agreeing with a bailout) but if you add up all the tax you would collect from the big 3 and all of the employees in their employ over the course of a year it would be in the billions. So the argument is if they fail the government would lose those billions anyway. Also if this crisis has shown us anything its the "ripple" affect is real. What ever happens to American (and its shitty worthless car companies) will in fact hurt the rest of the world. It sucks but its true.

Dan Savage Owns Right Wing Bigot Tony Perkins On Prop 8

I dont really think Savage owned anyone here, Tony didnt either. Yes Tony was spewing lies but he can claim the same. The problem with news broadcasts like this is it doesnt "PROVE" anything. I know they are just suppose to be the mediator but i think its their responsibility to fact check and call people out on bullshit other wise its nothing more than a soap box for both parties to talk over each other on. When Tony said young people did not overwhelmingly vote against 8 Anderson should of said "Hold it" then brought up the FACTS and then let them continue. If not its just two people calling each other liars all day.

Is Homosexuality a Choice?

The lesbian is hot. Though a problem i have with this clip is it kinda glazes over certain objections. Not saying Freud knew what he was talking about but instead of showing studies that have refuted what he and other psychologists proposed they just have the lesbian have a sarcastic response to it like that proves it wrong and moves on. There are plenty of more studies they could of mentioned that specifically shoot down old ways of thinking. Also im tired of hearing the "animals do it to" argument. Yes many animals seem on the outside to have homosexual behavior but its usually about establishing dominance more than any pleasure, does not have the "love" emotion we have, and is brief since every single one of those animals mentioned goes on to try and mate with a female. Not saying we arent animals (we are) but our brains are much more complicated and comparing homosexuality to other animals just seems like a cop out to me. Oh well, this clip is a step in the right direction. Remember, vote no on 8...oh wait California already fucked that up.
